Often many families have never purchased a monument before so here are some questions we are commonly asked to help make the process just a bit easier
Q. What size of monument is allowed?
A. Many cemeteries have different size restrictions for each type of plot. If it is a single cremation plot the most common sizes are between an 8x12 to a 12x20. If it is a side by side cremation plot you would have the option of putting a single monument with two names on it. The most common sizes would be our 12x20, 12x24 or 14x26. If it is a burial plot the sizes can start from a 12x20 and go up to a 18x30
In some cemeteries you are allowed an upright monument but it is less and less common now a days.

Q. What is the process of ordering a monument?
A. The first step is to get the size of monument that would work for the type of plot. Once we have this we would get any inscription or design ideas you have and make out an order form. From this we would then create two or three different designs on the computer for your family to consider. Once we have a design choice we would then start working on the granite itself.

Q. Can I order one online?
A. You can order a monument through email or over the phone, although we do recommend if possible to come out to our showroom to have a look in person at the different colors and styles of granite and designs. We would send designs through email with a close fill to the color of granite though so you have a pretty exact idea of what it will look like when finished.

Q. What if I want a custom design?
A. We do specialize in our custom designs so any ideas you have please email or phone and talk to us in person and we can see what can be done. We do believe in making each monument as unique as possible and work closely with families ideas to achieve this.

Q. What is a cemetery permit?
A. Almost every cemetery charges a permit for placement and care fund for monuments. In most cases this fee is based on the size of monument that is chosen. This fee is usually not taken care of with the plot purchase because it is dependent on the type and size of monument. Usually we would add this permit to our order and pay it for the family when we deliver the completed monument, it is just one less step a family needs to take care of.
